For NASA Spacecraft Launching, It's 'Destination: Moon'

NASA's Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer(LADEE) spacecraft--the first ever to be designed, developed, built, integrated and tested at NASA's Ames Research Center at Moffett Field, Calif.--is slated to launch toward the moon Friday, Sept. 6, at 11:27 p.m. EDT (0327 Sept. 7 GMT).
