The NBA is Making a Big Data Play

Big Data is hardly a new phenomenon in sports, but for the most part, casual fans have been spared the sabermetrics and advanced statistics. However, for the first time, all 29 of the NBA’s arenas will have software-packed cameras that will record players’ every move and map 25 images per second to make Big Data easily digestible.
