Rex brings a remarkably well-rounded executive management background to Rocket Fuel, having served previously as CFO for three public companies and as general counsel to both private and public companies. Prior to joining Rocket Fuel, Rex served most recently as CFO for JDSU (now Viavi Solutions), where he built a world-class business operation that implemented Oracle’s ERP system internationally, in just eight months, and reduced operations costs for the organization.

Christina Schmalzl leitet das Account Management Team von Rocket Fuel in Hamburg. Sie ist für die Betreuung und Weiterentwicklung von Werbetreibenden und Agenturen verantwortlich. Christina Schmalzl kommt von der Axel Springer AG, wo sie zuletzt im Mobile Marketing für die WELT Gruppe tätig war. Die 32-Jährige begann ihre Karriere vor sieben Jahren beim finnischen Unternehmen Sulake Gmbh, wo sie die Bereiche Marketing und Ad Sales der DACH verantwortet, bevor sie anschließend mehrere Jahre bei der Adconion Media Group im Account Management tätig war.

Mark Pelka verantwortet das Direktkundengeschäft von Rocket Fuel in Deutschland, Österreich und in der Schweiz. Er ist für das Neugeschäft sowie den Ausbau der Kundenaccounts in über 10 Verticals verantwortlich und steuert die Enterprise-Aktivitäten im Industry Sales für Rocket Fuels Programmatic Marketing Platform. Mark Pelka kommt von der Adconion Media Group, wo er zuletzt als General Manager für den Performance-Geschäftsbereich Aconion Direct verantwortlich war. Der 43jährige Hamburger war für renommierte Unternehmen im Marketing und Vertrieb sowie für Agenturen und Vermarkter als Führungskraft tätig.

Tim Purkayastha verantwortet bei Rocket Fuel Deutschland das Agenturkundengeschäft sowie die Partnerschaften mit Publisher und SSPs. Vor seiner Tätigkeit bei Rocket Fuel verantwortete er als Director Sales & Strategy für Heise Online die Steuerung der Vermarktung sowie die Weiterentwicklung digitaler Geschäftsfelder und Strategien. Zuvor war er bei Microsoft Deutschland als Head of Ad Sales für die Leitung des Agency Sales Teams zuständig. Davor war er in leitenden Funktionen in der Anzeigenvermarktung von Bauer Media KG und Verlagsgruppe Milchstrasse GmbH tätig.
