Jarvis Mak Talks Programmatic Video
Last November, Rocket Fuel sponsored the Videonomics Roundtable in New York, where over 40 of the top brand marketers and agency and media executives came together to discuss the state of video advertising.
Rocket Fuel SVP of Customer Success Jarvis Mak broke down and analyzed some of the big institutional barriers that exist in video advertising today, and the cohesive efforts of members of the video advertising ecosystem to address them.
Jarvis noted that the industry's adoption of programmatic could foreshadow a total paradigm shift of all media—print, television, and radio—to digital. He said that in the near future, it's possible that all advertising will be bought and sold on programmatic exchanges, making it important for advertisers in the digital space to begin considering offline staples such as scarcity, packaging, and content.
