REDWOOD CITY, CA, May 27, 2014 - Rocket Fuel Inc. (NASDAQ: FUEL), a leading provider of artificial intelligence (AI) advertising solutions for digital marketers, announced its full support of the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s (IAB) release of the newly updated Quality Assurance Guidelines (QAG). Rocket Fuel is proud to be included in the list of 29 certified companies in the program. As a co-author of the latest version 2.0 of the guidelines, Rocket Fuel has strengthened its commitment to provide marketers with increased brand safety, placement quality, and accountability.
As Mike Zaneis, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, IAB, said, “The more interactive advertising businesses that are certified under the QAG 2.0 program, the closer the industry gets to establishing the kind of high-quality, transparent, and trustworthy marketplace that will drive greater brand dollars to digital. These companies are proving themselves to be critical leaders when it comes to brand safety and fighting copyright infringement."
Companies that voluntarily agree to be certified according to these guidelines provide marketers and agencies with a uniform approach designed to build trust and make buying decisions straightforward. Certification entails:
• Completion of an IAB-led training process
• Establishment of a dedicated compliance officer
• Quarterly process audits
QAG-certified companies build processes and systems to ensure they uphold the terms of their IOs. Rocket Fuel's QAG compliance officer is Ari Levenfeld, a three-year veteran of Rocket Fuel, who is also Rocket Fuel's director of privacy and inventory quality.
