KeyLime Cove is a 30-acre resort and indoor waterpark in Gurnee, IL. The Florida-themed resort is about an hour away from both Chicago and Milwaukee. KeyLime Cove is famous for its vast waterpark with 12 water slides, a wave pool, a lazy river, a whirlpool, and a children’s pool. It is the official resort of Six Flags Great America. The park includes state-of-the-art technology with the use of electronic wristbands that double as park admission and a room key, and also enable guests to purchase items on the park’s grounds. The park is also proud of its highly advanced ozone disinfection system, which provides impeccable water quality and clarity, as well as air quality. This popular resort has been a favorite of both locals and tourists since its 2008 founding.
