We recently attended the Global Audience Based Buying Conference & Consultancy’s Future of Television conference. Along with a full day of discussions and networking, we also attended their first Audience-Based Buying Innovation (ABBI) Awards, celebrating the very best and most innovative companies in audience based buying – and we won the Bronze award in the Global Demand Side Platform of the Year category!
Winning this award is special for us because it truly reflects the views of our industry. GABBCON surveyed more than 8,000 advertisers, agency staff, publishers and media buying professionals to select the winners for their inaugural ABBI Awards. “What better way to judge winners than to leverage the audience for audience based innovation awards?” said Gabe Greenberg, GABBCON co-founder. “I think the win is far more meaningful when you take into account that thousands voted and selected the winners.”
Other companies recognised on the night include Cadreon (Silver in the Programmatic Agency of the Year category), Samsung (Silver in the Addressable TV Brand of the Year category) and DISH (Gold in the Addressable TV Platform of the Year category).
